Overall, Very good unit! Problems with the app and lack of State of Charge Functionality

I'm very happy with this 48v 5000w unit. It charges from my 2.8kw solar array, and 3.2kw generator with no issues. Very high max voltage which is useful for large solar input. My only issue is that the app could be better. Unfortunately, with my Lifepo4 Eco-worthy battery bank, it can't tell the state of charge accurately. It will reach 100%, but the moment it stops charging (sun goes down or generator shut down) it will read 45% charge and slowly decrease from there. I have 12.8KW of capacity and even with zero load, it reads 45 percent within 5 minutes of reaching full charge. As I result, i've ordered a smartshunt monitor from Victron that should solve this, but it would be nice to not require a second bit of hardware and software to monitor something so basic as state of charge. Especially since I matched this top of the product line Eco-worthy unit with their top of the line Eco-worthy battery bank (5) of the 51.2V 50ah batteries. The 2 should be able to communicate.

Overall, I would certainly recommend this inverter/charger. It does what it should at a very reasonable price and the wifi monitoring for keeping an eye on solar input is fantastic.

Works wonderful out of the box

Wonderful little unit! works out of the box, I had to return an EG4 unit due to the fact it didn’t work from factory. This one works out of the box, just needs more video reviews! I’m very happy with it so far only issue is there is no parallel support and settings on the inverter that aren’t in the documentation/manual. why is there a setting 57? what is it? why is it set to 2.0Amps?!
